April's Blocks

The lady in charge of designing and finishing April's quilt for do. Good Stitches asked us to make wonky stars. She also had a fabric picked out for the backing that we could use to coordinate our colors. I liked making these stars because it was just the right little project to do while I'm waiting for the gray corduroy to come in. Also it was a great use for scraps and good practice, since this quilting thing is still quite new to me (I ripped out multiple seams and ended up having to add a little patch to the blue one because I was having trouble getting the final squares to be the right size). Can't wait for May.
